How to Add a Golf Scorecard Overlay in CapCut

A Creator Kit Golf export is just a plain transparent PNG, so bringing it into your edit takes the same handful of steps every time: import it, stack it above your footage, resize it, and export. Here's exactly how to do that.

1. Get the export onto your device. If you built your scorecard on a computer, use the on-screen QR code in the Creator Kit Golf Studio to send the PNG straight to your phone or tablet — no cable or file transfer needed. On desktop CapCut, just save the PNG export to your computer as normal.
2. Add the overlay as an "Overlay" clip. With your golf footage already on the main timeline, tap the Overlay button (or Add Overlay on desktop) and select the scorecard PNG. CapCut places it on its own layer above your video automatically — you don't need to create a track manually.
3. Trim it to length. Drag the edges of the overlay clip on the timeline so it only appears for as long as you want the scorecard on screen.
4. Resize and position it. With the overlay clip selected, pinch and drag directly on the preview (or use the Scale/Position controls on desktop) to size and place it. The export is a transparent PNG, so nothing but the scorecard itself shows — no green screen or keying step needed.
5. Preview and adjust. Scrub through the clip to check it reads clearly. Cropped HUD exports are sized for a corner placement; Full Frame exports fill the screen, which suits a full-screen scorecard reveal moment.
6. Export as normal. Export your project the way you always do — the overlay is baked into the final video automatically.
